.tel domains - what are they?

There is a new domain available for registration - the .tel domain. There is a landrush happening at the moment for the choice resources. Well, what is special about these domain names? For these domain names the registrar allows all your contact information to be stored directly in the DNS - no need for any website building, ldap - no nothing. Your clients or any of your contacts who browse to this site would get all your contact info from phone numbers, email ids, social networking ids and even keywords. You can have public and private areas and can even store affiliates contacts. This is the next big thing in communication. This is called as online discoverability.

I too want to get into the landrush - it will start by Feb and general buyers would be allowed by March. During landrush the price is at a premium and whats more you have buy as a 3 year pack.
